Rhymes don't Hear no Reason

While time goes by
While hopes are high,
Nature's will
Is never shy

While words are true,
And actions too,
Not a thing can tear me
Apart from you.

We grew fond
Of loving hearts,
Of broken puzzles,
And missing parts.

Still the rain
is tickling down
While we kick curbs,
To lose what's been found.

I was once told
That reasons don't rhyme,
While playing fair
In Love is a crime.

I really want to see you go
For so and so,
Get lost, get found,
Unite our ground,
To stand together,
To stick the pieces,
To reunite again,
What no one misses.
